Trinity UMC Meals
Sequoyah UMC partners with Trinity UMC to provide monthly meals for the food insecure in our community. Meals are served every 3rd Sunday of every month. For five months of every year SUMC is in charge of preparing & serving meals. This is an incredibly rewarding ministry which gives us the opportunity to directly serve those in our community who need it most as well as connect with members of Trinity UMC and members of our own church.
Interested in volunteering? Join us every 3rd Sunday of the month at Trinity UMC's Fellowship Hall at 3:30pm. Volunteers help prepare 3-4 course meals & beverages for 75-80+ people, clean up following the meal, and pack leftovers for individuals to take home. We hope to see you there!
Elkins Public Schools
Sequoyah UMC helps assist schools in the area such as Elkins School District. Annually, SUMC gathers donations of school supplies for students and teachers. We also collect donations to assist Elkins in their Christmas Treasures program. This program provides food, clothing, and gifts to those that may be struggling during the holiday season. SUMC comes together to provide gifts for children including toys, clothing, shoes, and other necessities.
Cooperative Emergency Outreach (C.E.O.)

Sequoyah UMC takes monthly donations. Donations are collected in the Fellowship Hall and can be dropped off Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 3:00pm or Sunday mornings. Donation lists can be found on our Facebook & Instagram and are updated weekly!
