For the entire month of October Sequoyah UMC Youth hold their annual pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is a fundraiser specifically for SUMC Youth to help fund projects, activities, and events throughout the year. In previous years, the money fundraised has been especially helpful in covering expenses for conferences and mission trips the youth have attended.

Each spring and summer Sequoyah UMC grows and donates a variety of herbs & produce in our garden. Produce & herbs harvested are donated to the Trinity food pantry.

Interested in volunteering? Join us Wednesday's at 8:00am to help pick, water, and weed the garden to help it flourish!

Sequoyah UMC maintains a prayer garden in the center of the church. It contains beautiful plant life as well as many turtle friends.

Interested in helping us maintain our garden? Join us Thursday's at 9:00am (weather permitting) to assist in maintenance and upkeep. You're also welcome to bring our turtle friends treats! We suggest worms and fruit!

Blessing Bags are a way we get our entire congregation involved with helping the community. Members of our congregation donate the items tat fill these bags including essential items like food, toiletries, water bottles and more. Our youth group members help assist in this ministry by packing blessing bags during their meeting times throughout the week. We encourage individuals to store blessings bags in their vehicle for when they come across someone in need. Bags are always available at the church and are replenished monthly.
