Q: Can you return an absentee ballot in person?
A: Yes, Arkansas voters can return voted ballots inperson to their county clerk by close of business the day beforeElection Day—in this case, Monday, November 2. You can also return your absentee ballot at a drive-thru location between the Court House and First Christian Church every Saturday before Election Day from 10am to 4pm. You will need your approved voter ID to submit your ballot.
Q: If an absentee ballot is requested, can you still vote in person?
A: Yes, you can call the county clerk to cancel your request up to the point your ballot is mailed. Once your ballot is mailed, you can still choose to vote in person, but you’ll cast a provisional ballot, which will not be counted until the Election Commission determines its validity.
